Castell 9000 Artist Pencils
The Castell 9000 is a genuinely classic pencil, launched by Count Alexander von Faber-Castell in 1905. Its quality and finely graduated degrees of hardness have made it a firm favourite with artists and illustrators. Its lead is fully bonded with the wood surround and is therefore particularly break-resistant. It's available in 16 different degrees of hardness, from a delicate grey hue to a deep graphite black, making it ideal for all technical and artistic applications.
The Art Set inclued contains 12 Castell 9000 pencils in hardness grades 8B - 2H, which are on the softer end of the hardness spectrum. This makes them ideally suited for artistic and high contrast work. Each pemcil has an environmentally safe water-based coating and is extra break-resistant due to SV bonding. These pencils are built to last.Pitt Artist Pens
Faber-Castell has brought together all of the advantages of drawing in Indian ink in a modern pen - the Pitt Artist Pen. The high-quality brush point works both straight and bent. The light colours are transparent, and thus well-suited to varnishing techniques, while the dark colours have excellent covering qualities. Pitt artist pens have high-quality pigments of unequalled brilliance, with unsurpassed light-fastness.
The quality brush point provides maximum flexibility for spontaneous freehand sketches or accurate detail (the Pitt Artist Pen is also ideal for mixed media work e.g. combined with Albrecht Durer pencils), with a reliable and even flow of ink meaning that the point glides softly and smoothly over the paper.
Pitt Artist Pens are ideal for graphic artists, designers, illustrators and architects. They are especially suitable for drawings and plans, lettering, layout work and many similar uses. Included in our gift set are four lightfast and waterproof Pitt Pens in sizes S, F, M and B.Sketch Pad
The included Faber-Castell Sketch Pad is ideal for graphite, coloured & watercolour pencils, as well as Pitt Artist Pens. Perfect for art students, artists and hobbyists, each A4 pad includes 40 sheets of high quality 155gsm paper.A History of Quality
