Founded in Northern California in the late 80s Jacquard Products introduced themselves with their first product "Red Label Silk Colors", remaining a staple of professional silk painters everywhere, to this day.

This initial success invigorated Jacquard Products to produce more textile artist materials. New products have consistently been introduced every year, and now Jacquard offers over 20 product lines as well as a wide variety of kits, sets, class packs, chemicals and other art-related auxiliaries. Founded in 1949 by Lydia Sacki and Julius Kaufmann, Jakar International began its trading life importing cuckoo clocks and drawing instruments from Germany to the UK. Today, under the leadership of third generation Paul Sacki, Jakar remains one of the leading suppliers of art and crafts materials in the UK and Ireland.
