This set is a fantastic introduction to the Schmincke College Oil range. College Oils are an excellent quality student paint with very good lightfastness - each colour ranks between four and five stars (out of a possible five).
The colours included offer a comprehensive selection of the College Oil range and features opaque, semi-opaque, transparent and semi-transparent colours. This provides you with both hot and cold colours - ideal for a wide range of artworks.
These colours are compatible with all 3 other Schmincke oil colour ranges and mediums. College Oil is easy to use, having very good mixibility, and offers a fast and even drying process. It has excellent working properties. Its smooth, buttery consistency ensures that your brush strokes are maintained.
