Our Value range of Stretched Canvases are affordable & accessible to artists of all ages & experiences.

Available in 2 sizes, each canvas has been prepared with a coating of white, acid-free primer before being stretched securely & stapled to the rear of a lightweight MDF frame (preventing unsightly folds or uneven corners).

Suitable for use with acrylic & oil colour (both traditional & water-based), they're ideal for a variety of creative projects & their shallow depth allows for easy framing & compact storage.

These are definitely 'value' items, as the canvas is thin and the stretcher bars are adequate but don't allow for extra tension. The wedges supplied to increase the tension of the canvas surface were useless as they are too thin and too long for the slots in the stretcher bars - they poke through the side of the canvas if you put them in too far but you can't get enough tension if you don't. I ended up spraying both sides of the canvas with water and once dried the canvas was tight enough to use for my school art club. I had ordered 16 of these and they were all the same.
