TWhy use an Easel?
Many artists prefer to use an easel because it enables them to work more freely, and to step back and view artwork from a distance. Working in a vertical position reduces the possibility of perspective being skewed, prevents dust gathering on slow-drying media, and the build up of loose pastel, chalk or charcoal sitting on the support.

Why choose Reeves Art & Craft Workstation?
Offering the artist three angles of tilting position, and an A3 size drawing board, the Reeves Art & Craft Workstation provides versatility for the artist who prefers to be seated, when working on larger scale pieces of art.

What are the dimensions of Reeves Art & Craft Workstation?
Weighing 1.5kg, with board dimensions of 297 x 420 mm, the Reeves Art & Craft Workstation can accommodate a canvas or board up to A3 proportions. This model folds to a convenient size for easy storage and transportation.

Who are Reeves?
Established in 1766 by William Reeves, to manufacture and sell his own paints, the business flourished quickly, enabling William to take into partnership his older brother, Thomas. A family orientated business, more members continued to join the company, helping to give Reeves the quality reputation it maintains today. However, it was the development and successful marketing of their Moist Watercolour Paint-Cake in 1781, which placed Reeves at the forefront of manufacturing artists’ materials.

Expansion into foreign markets grew, thanks to military connections and the shipment of supplies to officers stationed in India. This was followed by diversification into affordable art materials for schools and beginners, a line which thrived upon the introduction of the Education Act in 1870. Today, Reeves continues to manufacture a range of innovative products for artists, crafters and children.

With very little space at my command, this compact, light easel is perfection. The angle adjusts so it's good for many styles and mediums. I like to use pencil, acrylics and airbrush - all good!!!
