About the Store
Opening in 2013, our Highbury branch was the first of our stores built from scratch, from floors to partitions, walls & doors. Featuring a full complement of artists’ materials, stationery & accessories, with a dedicated kid’s area, all surrounded by vibrant décor & a naturally light, airy atmosphere.
Only a short walk from our front door is the famous Arsenal Football Club & if you’re lucky enough to get yourself a signed top, swing by, we stock a variety of frames perfect for keeping it on display.
Exploring the nearby area, you’ll find a bustling, diverse little pocket of London with eateries, galleries & exciting shopping opportunities such as Upper Street & Angel Islington.
Sat on the High Street, almost opposite St. Mary Magdalene Church, a Grade II listed building featuring beautiful greenery, in the Highbury Gardens building, well-maintained thanks to being a part of The Prince’s Trust Foundation, you can’t miss us!
If you happen to pop in & purchase something, if it’s particularly cumbersome, or you’ve got a full day planned then you’re welcome to leave it with us for collection later, we have a Loading Bay available, just outside of the Lamb pub (20 minutes between 10am – 4pm). Also, don’t forget about the free parking nearby on Holloway Rd. on Sundays!
Only a 5-minute walk away is Highbury & Islington Station, with connections to Holloway Tube Station, the Victoria & Piccadilly Lines. Not only that, but there’s even a convenient bus stop servicing routes 43, 263, 271 & 393 directly in front of the store!
