Supplying the UK for over 50 years, Seawhite have garnered a strong relationship with artists, students, professionals and more thanks to their high-quality, innovative products and fast, personal service.
Founded in Brighton, this family business proudly upholds a ‘Made in Britain’ philosophy, employing a 50+ strong dedicated workforce in their West Sussex & Worksop factories, along with running the Seawhite Studio that hosts classes organised by Emily Ball.
Sustainability
Maintaining a strong focus on local, sustainable production, over 80% of Seawhite products are made by themselves or locally sourced within the UK, with their cartridge & coloured paper ranges produced to their exacting specifications in the UK & Europe.
In 2022, they completed installation of an array of solar panels in their Sussex facility, enabling the production of pads to be 100% powered by renewable energy.
This dedication even extends to the smallest possible details, such as replacing the entirety of their lighting with low energy LED bulbs in 2021 & extensive investment in recycling machinery for packaging or waste.

Cupcycling
Made using 80% recycled contents, the CupCycling range pairs strong, high-quality cup fibres with Seawhite’s own all-media formulation for a high-quality, sustainable cousin to their All-Media Cartridge papers.
Acid-free & vegan-friendly, each 140gsm sheet has outstanding tensile strength & a furnished surface for worry-free erasure. Sized for both wet and dry media, their body & tooth are suitable for a variety of techniques, even regularly outperforming heavier papers.
Produced in partnership with James Cropper PLC using recycled single-use coffee cups (from Costa, McDonalds and others), they demonstrate how a zero-waste process can not only produce real creative possibilities but even become a significant contributor to the national reduction of single use plastics.
