Escoda brushes began in 1933 in Sabadell, Spain, founded by Josep Escoda Roig, becoming the first brush factory in the country, filling a need for quality art supplies previously imported at high cost.

The family-run business grew from a small workshop, innovating with features like the triple-groove ferrule and now produces a wide range of high-quality natural and synthetic brushes, passing its tradition and dedication to fine craftsmanship through three generations to the present day.
