Video: Da Vinci Brush Cleaning & Care
This is a special soap based on pure vegetable oils with a citrus scent, designed for cleaning and maintaining brushes of natural hair, bristles, or synthetic fibres. Each 100g rectangular-shaped bar comes in a cardboard box.
The natural materials in this soap clean, maintain and condition the brush head. Brush hairs, bristles and synthetic fibres should be cleaned with a gentle but cleansing soap and warm water until the soap begins to produce white lather. You shouldn’t use a strong fat removing soap. Natural hairs especially tend to break if they are missing their protective fat content.
Using a gentle soap with conditioners will prolong the life as well as the suppleness of your brushes. After cleaning, wipe the brush with a fine piece of cloth and bring it to its original shape. Artists call this procedure ‘dressing’.
After use let the brush dry completely before you use it again. Don’t put it on the radiator to dry. There the hair will dry too quickly, the handle will shrink, and the brush head will become loose.
Ingredients: Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Parfum, Sodium EDTA.
