Comprising super fine pigments in an acrylic emulsion, Liquitex Professional Acrylic Ink is a range of extremely fluid acrylic paints. Permanent, water resistant and non-clogging, this acrylic ink dries quickly, making it ideal for watercolour effects, colour blocking and stamping.

Who are Liquitex?

Founded in 1933 by Henry Levison, Permanent Pigments, an oil colour producing company from Cincinnati, Ohio developed the first water-based artist acrylic paints. Their new formulation was launched in 1955, under the new company name Liquitex, an abbreviation of “Liquid texture”, which Levison believed better captured the product’s essence.

Today, Liquitex offers a vast array of intermixable vibrant acrylic paints and mediums, enabling artists to continually explore new and innovative ways of working with Acrylic Colour.

Having tried the basic 6 pack of inks previously as an alternative to another manufacturers product I was so impressed I ordered additional colours. I use them to paint on wood and love the translucency with the ability to build up the colour as required. Also these are lightfast which is important for my clients. Excellent value for the amount in each bottle. Definitely be using these from now on.

Great product for mixed media canvases. One of mine came damaged but I used customer service proforma to advise them and even though the response was slow they offered to replace said item but in the time it took I sourced the product elsewhere and asked for a refund

Very practical to mix with Heavybody liquitex paint. The ink add a range of colour in the mix with high precision, and many inks use the same pigments as paints (make sure you check the Liquitex documentation to know what you're doing)
