This is a really simple make that’s incredibly easy to embellish upon and customise according to your own taste. For example you might prefer to mount these decorations onto card or add some glitter. You could add in some additional details using string or watercolour paints. The opportunities are truly endless! For now though, we’ll start with something simple to help you get started.

Mod Podge Water-Based Sealer (Matte or Gloss) – Only £3.95!
It’s as simple as it looks!
Instructions:
1 . Cut your decoupage paper into small strips an inch or two long. This helps you avoid creating any wrinkles or air bubbles.
2. Start applying your decoupage pieces to your letters and stick in place by applying your Mod Podge on top with a brush.
3. Using matte Mod Podge will give you a transparent finish and gloss will give you a shiny finish. Using gloss Mod Podge and several layers of decoupage paper will give you more of a plasticised ornamental look.
4. You can layer up your pattern any way you like. Generally it’s best to have your pattern running in the same direction, so make sure your beach huts are all facing upright.
5. Once you’ve finished, your creation will be touch dry in about an hour. It’s as simple as that!
