This year’s AAF will see 110 local and international galleries descend on Battersea Park next week, showcasing an array of original artwork, all available for between £100 and £5,000.
Owning art has never been so easy! Whether you’re seeking something bright and bold, small and subtle, or cool and captivating, with work by over 1,100 artists under one roof you’re sure to be spoilt for choice.
Never bought a piece of art before? Find all you need to know about buying your first piece of art, hanging it in your home, or brush up on your art history and get to grips with the more technical lingo here.
We’ll be hosting some free workshops at the AAF every day between next Thursday and Sunday and we’d love for you to get involved. Here’s what you can expect from us:
Thursday 10th March, 12pm – ‘Everything But The Kitchen Sink’
This is a still life session with a difference – no fruit bowls or vases of flowers. Just an interesting array of everyday utensils and items and a whole range of exciting art materials from Cowling & Wilcox. Whether it’s your first try or you are an accomplished artist – this one is for everyone!
Friday 11th March, 12pm – ‘Strange Fruit’
We invite you to take part in another still life session with a difference: a contemporary take on the classic still life with everything you need to get started. Great for beginners.
Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th March, 2pm – Zentanglemania
Join in to help create a GIANT Zentangle drawing. The tables will be covered in paper – fill in the circles with shapes, patterns and colour. Silly, creative, family fun.
Special Offer: Cowling & Wilcox customers receive HALF PRICE ENTRY!
Head on over to the Affordable Art Fair website to SAVE 50% on door entry! It’s simple – just use the code CANDW5 when purchasing your ticket(s). This offer is exclusive to Cowling & Wilcox customers and is valid until Sunday 13th March 2016. Offer excludes the Charity Private View.
