The Series 418 from Da Vinci is professionally designed & handmade with a pointed tip of Russian blue squirrel hair mounted to short lacquered handles using either plastic or natural goose quill.
Ideal for watercolour, Russian blue squirrel hair is highly absorbent, able to hold large portions of water for mop painting techniques & bold washes, especially when working on larger areas. Their soft texture & sharp point allows for a variety of strokes from fine lines to broad swathes whilst retaining their original shape.
Made using lightweight wood, their handles have been ergonomically designed for ease of use & lacquered for a long lasting finish.
