Gelli Arts Gelli Printing Plates

Gelli Arts Gelli Plates are a fast, convenient method of mono printing without a press.

Developed as a non-perishable alternative to gelatin, they're completely clear, non-toxic, latex & silicone-free.

Thanks to their incredibly sensitive surface, it's effortless to hand draw a design onto the Plate using soft-tipped tools, such as paint brushes or cotton buds.  Alternatively, you could create a detailed print using absolutely anything (bubble wrap, leaves, feathers etc.), simply by wrapping it around or pressing it into the surface of the plates.

Things To Know

• It's best to store your Gelli Plate at room temperature in it's original packaging, or on a smooth tray or piece of glass
• Easily cleaned with soap & water, gel hand sanitiser or even just a wet wipe
• Recommended for use with water-based paint or inks, such as acrylic
• Dye-based paints may stain the Plate, but it won't affect the performance
• With use, the Plate may become matte or cloudy, but this won't affect performance
