Mixed Media Work
Sure, maybe using POSCA on a canvas or sketchbook is predictable... but it is satisfying!
Whether it's a basic sheet of paper, card, Bristol board, crêpe or even papier mâché, POSCA markers adhere perfectly and (most importantly) permanently with no special preparation required. You can achieve some incredible effects too, such as a watercolour style finish (if the surface is thick enough, of course).
Although no fixative is necessary for these techniques, applying a water-based varnish with help to optimise conservation over time whilst allowing you to pick whatever finish you prefer.

Customise Your Clothes

Once finished and dry, they can even be made permanent through several different methods.
For instance, you can iron your design from the reverse side, being sure to moderate the temperature depending on the fabric. For extra protection, a sheet of greaseproof paper can be placed between the fabric & iron.
Alternatively, if the fabric isn’t suitable for ironing, you can even use a hairdryer. Just be sure to maintain at least a 30cm distance from the surface, being sure to make small circular movements as you go.
