Featuring several unique protective properties, Glassine is a translucent paper with a smooth, glossy finish that's used prominently in several fields including bookbinding, archival storage & even within the food industry.
Able to be written on, folded or creased, this incredibly versatile archival-quality, acid-free paper protects against degradation for reliable long-term storage of paintings, illustrations, photographs or documents. The glossy coating also works as a protective layer against spillage, exposure or rubbing.
Each 40gsm sheet measures 50 x 75cm for additional coverage & is exclusively available in packs of 10.

Unfortunately a standard size, but was easy to cut to the size required to fit in A3 archival boxes. Easy to fold and use as a protective medium between paintings.

I’d asked for A3 Sheets of Acid Free Tissue Paper, what arrived was sheets but much larger than I wanted and therefore they were quite cumbersome to cut to the right size. I don’t have much work space!

I like how you can purchase these by the tens. They came nicely rolled in a tube and one sheet folded will protect 2 A3 papers.

I’m pretty sure it’s real Glassine. I use it for stamp collecting. I use it to preserve the stamps in envelopes I make out of it, as well as sheets that I cut down to go between pages in a stamp album. Definitely seems to do the job!
