This is an excellent easel. Sturdy and stable and easily adjusted for height and angle. Also folds down conveniently for carrying around and is not too heavy. But, as I think others have said, it would be good if there were some instructions for initial assembly. The bit with the ledge has to slide in from the top, not from the bottom as I initially did and thought it was jammed there for good at first
