Available in several sizes, these professional-quality 100% cotton canvases from Winsor & Newton have been carefully manufactured using only the finest grade cloth & heavy-duty pine for a superior, attractive, exhibition quality finish.

Beautifully responsive to every brushstroke, their medium grain surface has been double-primed with acid-free, highly pigmented gesso for balanced absorbency & stapled to the rear of the frame for expertly tailored, seamless corners.

Rigorously tested for warp-resistance, their professionally constructed 2.1cm depth frames have been built using kiln-dried, heavy-duty solid pinewood & feature slots for the included Pro-Stretcher device, providing the perfect tension every time.

Pleased with the canvas, obviously a quality product, especially with the mechanism to tighten the canvas. My only personal reservation was that the canvas itself was that it is not fine enough for my preferred method of painting, so a few coats of gesso were required.
