Cowling & Wilcox Canvas Board is made from 3mm thick lightweight MDF and 100% pure cotton. This medium grain canvas board has been produced for use with all forms of acrylic and watercolour, as well as many other mixed media applications.

The canvas board has a weight of 280gsm, is primed with three layers of gesso primer and is also acid free, ensuring that your paint colours retain their vibrancy. Incredible value for money.

I have not painted on this yet but size and quality is as described. Good value for the discounted price that caught my attention! I’m glad I came across this product because this size is quite rare for canvases and expensive elsewhere although I was hoping it would be a skinny version of a box canvas, however that was my mistake for not double checking the precise dimensions.
