Made to the highest specifications & available in several sizes, the Artists' Stretched Canvas range from Daler-Rowney is a fantastic investment for artists interested in using oil & acrylic colours.

Made using a superior-quality, heavyweight (350gsm), acid-free, 100% cotton canvas stretched over an FSC-Certified heavy wooden frame for improved strength & optimal stability.  This is then triple-coated in a high quality acrylic primer for a perfect ready-to-use surface suitable for both oil & acrylic colours.

Stapled to the rear for clean, attractive edges & complete with wooden wedges in order to adjust the tension of the surface itself.

These two canvases by Daler Rowney are far better than most other canvases I have bought recently. I did experience slight difficulty in tapping the wedges into the frame - very tight - but at least they will not now drop out.

Daler Rowney canvasses are not as smoothed grain as I prefer (they do have a medium grain) but they are good quality and reasonably priced
