Available in several sizes, the Carton Entoilé Round Canvas Boards from Clairefontaine are an interesting, lightweight & cost-effective alternative to traditional stretched canvas.
Featuring 100% cotton canvas stretched over a sturdy, rigid 3mm base.
Each board has been primed with an acid-free universal white coating, helping to prevent degradation & yellowing over time.
Ideal for a range of mediums, including heavier applications such as gouache, oil or acrylic colours.

As novice I wanted cheaper boards to practice on so I ordered a few boards that were on offer as they were a good bargain.
They arrived within a week and were safely packed.
They were ready to paint from the moment they came out of the box.
I couldn't see any faults with the boards and the paint applied without any problems.
I will probably order larger ones next time.

From a painting point of view, I suppose this board was OK. However, I was using it for craft and found my materials were harder to stick to a board than to a framed canvas, which is what I usually work with, My fault I guess, but one has to try things.

Very good for the price, with time or the weather i'm not sure, the bigger ones tend to bend. I'm still looking for a goo way to frame them, but they look great by themselves :)

As I haven't used the round canvas yet, I can't realistically rate the goods. However, based on past products, confidently assume that the quality will be good for purpose, certainly adequate for a young teenager to practice on.
