Available in several metallic colours, these deco flakes from Pebeo can be applied to almost any surface for a series of effects.
Best used with a water-based adhesive, such as their very own Gilding Paste, you're able to easily create a unique, aged or crackled vintage style with a shimmering finish in your illustrations, on frames, decorations & more!
Alternatively, using Gilding Leaves would produce a similar finish, but with a smoother application thanks to their larger sheets.
These are available in both a vibrant gold & a shimmering silver tone.
Instructions
- Make sure the surface you're working with is clean & dry.
- Apply the Gilding Paste, using a soft, synthetic brush.
- Leave to dry for around 15 minutes, or until it feels "tacky".
- Brushing delicately with your soft brush, carefully lay the flakes over the prepared area.
- Be sure to use a varnish to protect your finished piece, whatever that may be.

Great product good price and a great size packet, although one of the plastic boxes was broken which meant the bag they came in contained lots of the flakes. Might be better to store them in a sealed bag. In spite of this I love the flakes and will buy again.
