Distilled from pine sap, this Gum Turpentine (previously known as "Refined Portuguese Turpentine") from Michael Harding is a colourless, highly-effective solvent for oil colours.
Best used in a well-ventilated area, Gum Turpentine is ideal for thinning oil paints & cleaning various tools (such as brushes etc). Speeding up the drying time of oil colours, this particular medium is especially useful for underpainting techniques.
Any paints mixed with Gum Turpentine will dry to a subtle matt finish.
