A staple for oil painters since it was developed in Europe in the 15th Century, this Refined Poppyseed Oil from Michael Harding is slower drying with a lighter film in comparison to Linseed or Safflower Oil.
Tempering the consistency of oil colours whilst increasing their gloss & transparency, the paler tone is best when blended with Whites or Blues, as it is less inclined to yellow over time, ensuring their bright colours aren't affected.
