Regulating the composition, combination and characteristics of mountboard, the guild identifies three levels of categorisation: Standard, Cotton Museum and Conservation.

The boards themselves are great, and reasonably priced compared to other brands and websites, but I did notice that some of the corners were slightly dented upon delivery. Not a massive problem for me as I planned to trim them down to the sizes of my frames anyway, but could be an issue if intending to use the entirety of the board

Excellent value. I am going to use these boards to paint on. They are a decent substitute for gesso panels which I cannot get due to lock down and I was recommended to use these by my tutor. I haven't been disappointed or ill advised :-)
