About the Author

Running Manga workshops since 2004, Sonia Leong is a well-respected professional Manga illustrator with over 80 publications across the globe including magazines, comics, graphic novels, art books & various film / TV projects.

Winning the 1st Tokyopop Rising Stars of Manga competition in 2005, her best-selling debut graphic novel Manga Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet has since made it onto recommended reading lists worldwide & been translated into various global editions.

Working closely with the British Council, she's made appearances at the Guardian Hay Festival, the Victoria & Albert Museum & London County Hall.
She is frequently invited to represent the UK as a special guest at events and conventions across Europe, America & Asia.
