Founded in 1584, Hahnemühle have been working out of the same factory in Germany for over 430 years, producing the finest artist-quality materials with a particular focus on both sustainability and responsibility.  As far back as 1965, they were the first paper manufacturer to produce exclusively Vegan materials & to this day, they use no animal glues or other substrates during any portion of the manufacturing process.
